I have been teaching and practicing yoga for over 20 years. I was working in Corporate Health/Wellness and my employer wanted to bring yoga to their employees. Although I questioned that this practice/type of movement was for me, I quickly learned it was exactly what I was craving. Yoga allowed me to be more present and live mindfully. I learned how important it was to slow down and connect with my breath to be less reactive.
I hope to teach others that mindful movement allows us to be more focused and engaged. It is a type of meditation in motion. So many of us live hectic lives and our minds are often busy. I would love to inspire others to pause and reset. Come to my classes to move, breathe and maybe challenge yourself a bit. Show up as you are without expectations and enjoy the sense of community that yoga provides.
My teaching motto is: “Show up as you are without expectations and enjoy the sense of community that yoga provides.”

I began my yoga journey in 2002 with an Ashtanga Yoga class and immediately fell in love. I asked myself, “where has yoga been my whole life?” I had been active in fitness and working out, but never experienced the calm, centered feeling I had after yoga. The physical practice appealed to me in the beginning but over time I realized there were huge mental/emotional benefits as well. I began to crave time on my mat and came to understand my strengths, vulnerabilities and limitations in a very intimate way.
In March 2012, I graduated from my RYT200-hour teacher training. I pursued my RYT300-hour training and graduated in Jan. 2021. I have so much gratitude for my teachers and students from whom I continue to learn. I love to practice and teach different styles of yoga, pranayama and meditation. I hope to pass on to others the importance of listening to our body daily, choosing what is best for you mentally and physically and encouraging personal practice. I also enjoy my family, biking, reading, knitting and walking with my retriever Elliott Blue.
My teaching motto is: “Compassion for self, compassion for others.”

I am a teacher and continuing student of learning with 12 years of combined experience in the elementary and middle school classroom. I hold a Master’s degree in Elementary Education. I also have been interested in sports and physical activity my entire life and have coached both club and high school soccer teams. I decided to pursue yoga teacher training to share the practice with teens that I coached and wanted to safely add yoga to our training and conditioning regimen. I am an ERYT-200 hour Yoga Alliance registered yoga teacher with over 10 years of experience and truly love sharing all the aspects of yoga with others.
My teaching motto is: “Allow your yoga practice to lead you to the blissful state of lightness.”

Yoga has been part of my life for over six years. With three active boys, yoga has truly become one of my self care rituals. I completed 200hr teacher training through Drishtiq Yoga in March of 2022 in Mason, OH. I love to practice as a student as well as research new flows or yoga poses to bring to the mat. I aim to meet students where they are on good and bad days. In my classes I love to focus on movement with the music, breath and maybe a challenging pose or two. I look to yoga for the release of stresses in life and hope my students can take time for themselves as well.
My teaching motto is: “Self care. Self love. Open mind.”

I discovered that yoga is a gift that is available to me and anyone willing to practice. My yoga journey began decades ago following a car accident in which I injured my lower back and neck. After several months of practice, following the accident, my pain began to subside. Yoga helped me to tune into my body’s needs so that I could manage lower back pain, increase mobility, and tap into a sense of calm. I’ve been practicing yoga regularly ever since!
Come join me in one of my yoga classes. My preferred style of yoga is gentle. In a gentle flow, expect that we will activate our breath, move at a slower pace with lots of modifications, and utilize guided meditation techniques.
My teaching motto is from the words of TKV Desikachar: “Anybody can breathe. Therefore anybody can practice yoga.”

I have been practicing yoga on and off my entire life. During the pandemic I found myself diving deeper into my practice and love for yoga, becoming a yoga teacher. I enjoy how yoga allows us to connect our mind and our body.
I believe there is a yoga practice for everyone, it’s just a matter of finding the practice that best fits you. As a mental health counselor I have seen ways that yoga can also be a healing practice and I enjoy being able to assist people in their yoga journey, no matter where that may be at the time.
My teaching motto is: “Yoga is a journey of the self, to the self.”

I began practicing yoga in 2014, and quickly fell in love with it. I attended regular classes and delved into reading and researching all things yoga. It was something that I wish I would have stumbled upon sooner in life – it was truly life changing. I gained my certification in 2016 from Drishtiq Yoga in Mason and immediately began teaching warm/hot vinyasa classes.
I stepped away from teaching yoga in the third trimester of my pregnancy with my first child, but I knew I’d make my way back to my mat eventually. I threw my whole heart (and all of my energy) into motherhood, and I’ve come to realize the importance of having a space for me. My passion for yoga is still very much alive and the lessons my babies have taught me of resilience, confidence in who I am, and the importance of being present will be with me as I teach. I am grateful for this opportunity to teach again and be alongside the best community of yogis.
My teaching motto is: “Trust the flow and trust the process.”

I am a Cincinnati, Ohio native who has lived in South Carolina and Georgia. I’m now back in her hometown and excited to share my passion for yoga with you!
I started practicing yoga in my early 20’s and decided in my mid-40’s to take my love for yoga to the next level and begin teacher training. My ERYT-200 was completed in May 2019 with the Sakhi Yoga School in Columbia, SC. I am Yoga Alliance Registered. I began to share my love of yoga and teaching in South Carolina and Georgia. While doing so, I developed many relationships that continue to bring inspiration on and off of the mat. I am passionate about teaching and bringing my love of the practice to the mat with the hope of creating that feeling for others.
I work full-time in the healthcare field as a Registered Medical Assistant. I enjoy spending time with my dog Charlie along with family and friends, a variety of exercise, outdoor adventures, gardening, reading and cooking.
My teaching motto is: “Always take that extra deep breath, listen to and honor your body.”
